American Idols | Seven Remaining Contestants Set To Do Battle

After last weeks American Idols Shocker when Michael Johns was eliminated the final 7 remaining realize that at any time they too can be going home. This week the remaining 7 American Idols are:
David Cook
Ramiele Malubay
Carly Smithson
Kristy Lee Cook
Syesha Mercado
Brooke White
David Archuleta
Jason Castro

Could David Archuleta be the one sent home? Maybe its Carly Smithson's week to take the final walk on American Idols. My bet is Syesha Mercado or Ramiele Maluby will be the next victim of American Idols fickle audience. Stay tuned for next update

American Idols | American Idol Finalis | Top 10 Money In Site

Well tonight's the night the top 10 American Idol finalists do battle. With the grand prize money getting closer to their grasp, I'm sure the performances won't let us down. Who do you think will "WOW" us tonight? David Archuleta, Brook White, Michael Johns? Don't be surprised if Carly Smithson pulls out the night of her life, she's been getting awful close to the bottom of the pack and needs the boost. Those that fail to stun the American Idol fans tonight better start lobbying for votes if they expect to continue.

On a side note has anyone noticed the American Idol songwriters contest? It had completely missed it up until today. March 31st is the deadline to get your song submitted. You can check out americanidol.com for all the details. Wouldn't It be funny if one of the eliminated contestants like Asia'h Epperson, Kady Malloy, Jason Yeager, or Danny Noriega entered the song writers contest and won. What an interesting twist of fate that would be. I'm not sure they are even eligible though, I didn't bother to read the contest rules.

I'll post more updates on the finalists here on Asia h Epperson - American Iodl Finalist as soon as I can

American Idols | American Idol Sweet 16 | Female Finalists

Amanda Overmyer overcomes her bad hair, past DUI,and tough reputation to put together her best night on American Idol. Her song of choice for the night was "I Hate Myself For Loving You" and the judges loved it. Simon Cowell who for the most part doesnt like anyone even gave her rave reviews. Carly Smithson and Brook White also put up huge performances to round out what I believe were the top 3 last night.
Cute lil Ramiele Malubay, Asia’h Epperson, Kristy Lee Cook, and Syesha Mercado all put on good performances but with mixed reactions from the judges. The female American Idols put on a better show this week than their male counter parts in my opinion. Eliminations of the American Idol Sweet 16 will take place tonight. To be quite frank other than Luke Menard being on the chopping block I'm not sure who will go home.

American Idols | American Idols Females | Who is left

After a second round of eliminations on American Idol the females are left with|:

Asia’h Epperson

Carly Smithson - a ringer ??

Brooke White

Amanda Overmyer - wow that hair!!

Syesha Mercado

Ramiele Malubay - little body big voice

Kady Malloy

Kristy Lee Cook

The biggest shock of the week was the elimination of Alaina Whitaker in week 2 of American idol. Wow was she ever shocked!!! She put on a show of tears that even made me feel embarassed for her. Alaina your young enough to recover, pull it together and focus on your future. Other than Amanda Overmyer's hair I dont think I have seen a bigger mess on the American Idol stage before. Speculation running around the web is that Amanda Overmyer, who showed very little range in her voice, will be the next female voted off. Carly Smithson will have to pull off a very good week if she expects to continue on in the American Idol Finals. Rumors about her being a ringer have upset many and her popularity is plummeting quickly, so dont be surprised if she goes home also.
